Taming Worry
Program Details

Taming Worry is an 8 week group designed to support children between the ages of 7-10 and 10-13 as they explore their feelings of fear, anxiety, and worry in a fun and encouraging environment.

Through the exploration of their worries through activities, crafts and discussion; the children learn skills and strategies to cope with their fears and anxiety in an supportive setting with their peers.

Topics explored include:

  • symptoms of anxiety
  • individual anxiety triggers
  • how our brains work
  • self talk
  • negative thoughts
  • mindfulness & movement

Ages 7 – 9
Wednesdays: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Ages 10 – 13
Wednesdays: 7:30pm – 8:30pm
