Building Healthy Families:
Post Adoption Support for Parents
CFS Saskatoon is excited to announce that we have a NEW program starting in February 2020. In partnership with The Adoption Support Centre of Saskatchewan, we will be providing a post adoption support and family preservation support group, titled “Building Healthy Families: Post Adoption Support Group”. This program is for adoptive parents anywhere on their adoptive journey, who may be experiencing adoption related issues or concerns.
Facilitator – Tera Hrappstead
Tera holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Regina. She grew up in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
She has specialized training in Visual Arts and Drama. Tera utilizes her expressive arts and psychoeducational background as a therapeutic tool in groups. She has worked with infants, children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
Tera is a group facilitator for Parents. She believes in the importance of building healthy foundations and relationships, and that all people have inherent strengths. She creates safe and supportive environments for Clients from all backgrounds.
Location: The program will be held at the ASCS office at 527 Main Street
Dates: Every second Wednesday 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

There is no registration fee for the program, however, pre-registration is REQUIRED. This course is done via zoom, once registered you will be sent a link.
