Building a Healthy Foundation:

Parents of 3–5-year old’s

Do you have a 3- to a 5-year-old child? Have you been having difficulties understanding or managing their behavior? Are you feeling frustrated? Building a Healthy Foundation is a parenting group that will offer you new tips, tricks, and strategies to try with your 3- to 5-year-old child. It will focus on exploring developmental stages, and how to meet preschooler’s needs for connection and quality time.

“I have learned a lot about forming good relations with my children. Before I did not know what to do. This class was practical and systematic. Taught me about what the reason is behind children’s behaviors and what to do.  I now have better relationships and feel more connected with my children”.

Dates: Starting September 22nd, 2021 – November 10th, 2021 (Ongoing)

Program Facilitator – Tera Hrappstead

Tera holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Regina. She grew up in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

She has specialized training in Visual Arts and Drama. Tera utilizes her expressive arts and psychoeducational background as a therapeutic tool in groups. She has worked with infants, children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds.

Tera is a group facilitator for Parents. She believes in the importance of building healthy foundations and relationships, and that all people have inherent strengths. She creates safe and supportive environments for Clients from all backgrounds.
