Community Outreach Programs
CFS Saskatoon wants to foster a sense of peace and belonging in our community. Our Community Outreach programs accomplish this by leveraging existing partnerships to provide support for individuals and families in becoming active and engaged community members.

Groups Being Offered:
Parenting With Resilience
Parenting With Resilience is a 2 hour ongoing weekly support group, offered to parents who have had their children apprehended, or are at risk for apprehension. The group helps parents find their strengths and empowers them to tackle tough issues they face in order to achieve the goal of getting and keeping their children in their care.
Topics include:
- Positive parenting
- Attachment and bonding
- Healthy relationships
- Setting limits and boundaries
- Self-care
- Stress management
- Non violent communication

1:30 – 3:30 pm

Mindful Parenting
A program for parents focused on Emotional Regulation and Stress Reduction.
Includes gentle beginner Yoga and Mindfulness practice. Bring/wear stretchy clothing.
Mondays 1:30pm -3:30 pm at Elizabeth Fry Society in Station 20 West
Starts January 27th, 2020 ongoing program.
