COVID-19 Update
February 28th, 2022 COVID-19 Update

As of 12:01 a.m., February 28, Monday morning, the Government of Saskatchewan’s Public Health Order have been lifted, leading to removing of any remaining provincially-mandated COVID-19 precautions such as masking, screening or capacity limits.

At the same time, CFS Saskatoon, encourages all its staff members and clients seeking our services to continue to implement health and safety precautions that promote a safe and accessible environment for all.

The following precautions will be upheld at CFS Saskatoon as we move into March. These precautions are intended to be iterative in nature and we commit to re-evaluating periodically as we continue toward a new normal.

Masking

Staff:  All staff will continue to wear masks while in all public spaces at the Saskatoon Community Service Village and in our offices.

Clients & Visitors: Clients and visitors will be asked to continue wearing masks while attending our Saskatoon Community Service Village offices.  Adults picking up their children at our Early Learning Centre’s will also be required to wear a mask.

Screening

Staff & Client Screening: We will no longer be asking staff and clients to complete COVID-19 screening questions. We will however encourage everyone to monitor for symptoms before arriving at our Saskatoon Community Service Village location each day.  If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms including fever, cough, or loss of taste or smell we request that you stay home and reschedule your appointment.

Facilities

Sanitizing: Ongoing and regular cleaning of all surfaces and counselling rooms will continue.

Physical Distancing: Additional facility adaptations – such as waiting room spacing will be maintained.

Remote & Telephone Services: Although the demand for in person services is increasing we continue to make telephone and virtual services available to our clients.
